Module Two Photography Assignment

Module Two Photography Assignment

These three are my photos for color.

These two are portraits of my dad.

These are my stock photos. I figured that the keyboard could be used in an article about, or review of, the Macbook Air, and the two food pictures could be used in an article.

Module 1 Photography Assignment

Module One Photography Assignment

The above two photos are the ones where I experimented with focal length. One photo came out more focused and detailed than the other.

The two photos here are the ones where I experimented with settings on my camera. One is in regular portrait mode, and the other is in dramatic color mode.

These three photos of my laptop were the ones where I took the picture in different lighting. I needed to use flash on them all, because otherwise you could not see anything in the picture. The first one is in the artificial lighting of my living room, the second is in my dark backyard that has fluorescent lighting, and the third one was in my hallway with all of the lights off.

These three photos of a tree were my favorite practice photos.

Module Four Photo Assignment

Module 4 Photo Assignment

The above are my pictures for the Rule of Thirds.

The above three are my pictures for filling the frame.

The above pictures are my pictures for lines. I used vertical lines in all three pictures because I enjoyed the feel they gave the image more than diagonal or horizontal lines.

The above three photos are my photos for perspective. The first two were taken by putting my camera on the ground and taking the picture, for the third one I knelt on the ground and turned my camera upward to give the view of someone on the ground looking up.

The above four are my pictures for following and breaking the rules of composition. In the first one I am following the guideline of active space, in the second one I chose to ignore active space to get a more detailed picture of the rooster. In the third one I followed the Rule of Thirds, in the fourth one I chose to ignore the Rule of Thirds for a more dynamic photo.
