Module Fifteen: Photography Assignments

Please complete the following exercises. Submit the work as a file attachment. The Photography Assignment exercise is worth 15 points.

1.            Using a photo editing software program, adjust an original image in at least two different ways. For example, you might apply a filter and adjust the color of an image or you might adjust the contrast of an image and crop the image. Submit the original image, the image after the first action, and the image after the second action.

2.            Using a photo editing software program, create a special effect in your photograph. Each program will have different options for special effects so you may wish to check the manual or look for tutorials on creating special effects. The special effects may range from creating the illusion of texture in the photograph to adding glitter to the image.

3.            Choose one image that you have taken and edit the photograph in a photo editing software program. You can use any of the tools in the program to enhance or improve the image. Submit both the original image and the edited image.

4.            Use a photo editing software program to create a layer of an image. Submit the original image and the image with a layer present.

5.            Using one of the images that you have taken, create a print of your image. For a digital image, print the image into a physical photograph. When you are finished, take a photograph of the printed image, making sure to show that the image has been printed, and submit the photograph to show that you have completed the task.
