Module Sixteen: Photography Assignments

Please complete the following exercises. Submit the work as a file attachment. The Photography Assignment exercise is worth 15 points.

• Practice taking fine art photographs. Submit three photographs that you feel meet the guidelines for fine art photographs.

• Choose a particular concept (such as happiness, sadness, a promotion, a holiday, etc.). Practice taking photographs that illustrate the concept. Submit three stock photographs that you feel meet the guidelines for stock photographs.

The following photographs represent the park.

• Choose a particular product. Practice taking product photographs using the guidelines discussed in the module. Submit one product photograph.

• Stock photographs with people in them are often desired. Practice taking stock photographs with people in them. Remember to have a particular concept in mind and to obtain a model release for the photograph.

These stock photos are for walking a dog.

• Choose one of your photographs to display. Using some of the guidelines in the lesson, prepare the photograph for presentation. When you are finished, take a photograph of the display/presentation and submit the photograph of the displayed work.
